Some widgets to re-enforce wing structure

Will probably use some red crepe paper on wings to finish.

Friday's Green Dragon day (apologies for local joke)

Granny Grate Orcs versus Dwarves WARG 1.4

Lost Mine

The two sides advance with the Dwarven leader reaching the mine first.

The Dwarves attempt to secure the mine, but their right flank seems out of touch.

                                            Both sides trade casualties

The Dwarves seem to have secured the mine at the expense of their right flank.

The Dwarves continue to hold the mine, but have taken heavy casualties in doing so.

The Dwarven casualties mount further as they try to hold on.

A Victory for the Orcs & Goblins at the Lost Mine.

Portable WARG 1.3

Alexander's Macedonians versus Darius III's Persians

Alexander has trouble mobilizing his troops and the Persians pounce

Alexander's Heavy Cavalry "bloodies" the Persian Scythed chariots

Alexander's Heavy Cavalry eliminates the Persian Scythed Chariots, while his regular Cavalry assaults the Persian light infantry on the right flank

The Macedonian cavalry eliminates the Persian light infantry on the right

Not the Persian's day, as Alexander's Pikes inflict casualties to the Persian Spears in the middle and the Macedonian Pikes and Cavalry sandwich and eliminate Persian Spears on the right.

                                      The Persians begin their retreat.

A victory for Alexander

Portable, yes. The board is 11 1/4 inches by 11 1/4 inches and the armies fit into 2 4 1/2 inch by 6 1/2 inch by 1 inch photo trays.

Bonus closeup photos of some of the armies. Please notice the shields 8-)

Alexander's Heavy Cavalry and Pikes

Persian Scythed Chariots on left, Spears in the middle, and Darius III's elite Chariots on the right.

Back to Iltor dungeon (3)

Yes, Winks took 4 lightning bolts, nearly back to back, from the Troll Magi Chieftain and had one very badly singed beard 8-) And, not one, but 2 Troll Magi (thanks Michael Shorten for the idea)

Return to Iltor dungeon during a Hurricane

Solo D&D ?

What ? Solo D&D (tm) are words I never thought I would utter. But, then I never imagined using the word COVID, either.  So here's a look at my solo effort at a fantasy role playing game. For now, let's call it, "1 4 adventure".

Disclaimer: Nothing compares to a great fantasy role playing game being played around a full table of players !!

Here is an outcome of a recent solo adventure:

Always beware of free loot, even after you have safely disarmed and opened the chest !
