Edgehill October, 1642 in 15mm

                           The first major conflict of the first English Civil War.

   Never place military miniatures on consignment.  Nevertheless, these units will be remounted before the next WARG ECW battle. 

Order of Battle: both sides, 6 infantry (3 pike & 3 musketeers), 2 cavalry and 1 artillery. Victory condition: "The Royalists must sweep the field of the Parliamentarians."

    1. It was closer than it looks. The King's musketeers in the center woods really created a problem in mid to late game. And, the Earl of Essex made a major mistake by committing his cavalry into a needless assault on his right flank.

    3. Kaptain, what are your thoughts on allowing units with Pikes in wooded hexes ? My new mounting will include units that are simply muskets and units with pike and muskets.
